Please take the time to support the sponsors of WAATVA. With the generosity of our sponsors, WAATVA host the Annual Fun Run, performs DNR trail maintenance, supports local food banks, and more. We greatly appreciate their commitment to ATV recreation.
Be sure to connect with Racing Powersports on Facebook and Twitter to show your support of those companies who are helping to provide a positive future for ATV recreation in Washington state.
Many of you may have heard about the new proposed rule changes and guidelines that the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is proposing for side-by-sides (ROVs). We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the proposals by following the links below.
What Does That Mean for us riders? The “rule” would require OEMs to build to arbitrary design standards in 4 areas:
Minimum lateral acceleration on pavement
Mandated Passenger Seat Belt Interlock
Mandated Shoulder Bolster
Below is a list of links to help familiarize yourself with the recommendations from the CPSC, and a link to send a letter to our U.S. Representative & Senators.

We will be having a meeting to discuss how the event went, new suggestions, ideas, and strategies for next year. We will be discussing the banquet also.
Please join us on Sunday, June 8, at the Round Table Pizza. Address is 7921 South Hosmer, Suite A1, Tacoma WA 98408, phone number 253-473-6121 from 5:30 pm till 7:00 pm.
Now don’t forget to mark your calendars and we’ll see you there!
Both the Naches & Cle Elum District Trails are currently scheduled to be open on or around June 15th. They will remain closed to help protect natural resources during periods of heavy use, spring precipitation and run-off from snow melt. This closure does not apply to snowmobiles or non-motorized use.
Trails will be evaluated on a case by case, day to day basis. Once a trail has dried out and maintenance is completed, it could be opened prior to June 15. Trails that are opened before June 15 will be marked at the trailhead with Trail Open signs.
